The Cheltenham Half Marathon starts and finishes at the heart of this beautiful regency town. It is a relatively new race in a lovely setting with loads of potential.
The single lap course starts alongside the beautiful Pittville Park. Runners head to the South of the town along broad tree-lined avenues via the Promenade, Montpellier and Lansdown Road.
The race continues North of the town along Prestbury Road with the final section of the route taking in a stunning lap of Cheltenham racecourse, past Pittville Pump Rooms before crossing the finish line back where it all began!
The course is flat, with one steady climb at mile 8 and 9. The lap around the racecourse is on a road on the inside of the race track with stunning views across the Cotswold Hills.
