The Seabank Marathon has been an annual fixture for over 35 years! All proceeds raised are split between MacMillan Cancer Relief and a charity of the runners choice. There is also a team relay that is based on teams of 8. Fun runners and walkers are welcome too.

The Course

The course starts in The Market Place of Boston and after running through the streets of Boston joins the banks of the River Haven. After a few miles the route becomes quiet country lanes, and then farmland before joining the seabank that keeps the The Wash out of Lincolnshire and then into Skegness. It is not for the faint hearted but is a real experience !

Start of the Seabank Marathon

A great and challenging 27.9 miles! We do it every year and it always holds new surprises for us. The organisation does leave something to be desired: the 26.2 mile mark is just a line painted across a country lane with no timekeepers or marshals, and the full result have not, at the time of writing, been published. It's almost a month since the event.
