This race is worringly known as 'the tough one'. The marathon has a frightening 3450ft of climb whilst the half has a more modest 1450ft of ascent! The race is organised by the local Rotary club to raise money for several charities. Runners get the chance to see three iron age forts - Cissbury Ring, Devils Dyke and Chanctonsbury Ring, all of course on top of three pretty big hills!
No pb's at the Three Forts! There's several styles and a mixed terrain of fields, tricky rutted tracks, wooded areas and a few tarmac sections. A seriously tough course that will leave you glowing for days.
