The Tunbridge Wells half is organised by Tunbridge Wells Harriers. The race was first held way back in 1983 and has been going strong ever since. The 2750 limit is reached very early (around early January) so enter quick to avoid disappointment. The race is renowed for its excellent organisation and friendly atmosphere. One of the best races in the UK.
A single lap tough course through Kent's beautiful countryside. There are some pretty hefty hills and of course the infamous Spring Hill climb at around the 6.5 mile mark. There are drink stations on the route at 3, 5.4, 8, 9.5 11.3 miles and at the finish, and first aid. Unfortunatley the course is not suitable for wheelchair athletes.
