The Isle of Wight Marathon is the longest running marathon in the UK having first been held in 1957. The race is organised by Ryde Harriers who organise several races during the year.
A one lap course that undulates through both town and rural roads. The raev passes several villages including Cowes, Gurnard, Porchfield, Yarmouth, Afton, Thorley, Shalfleet, Porchfield and Northwood.
