The Baxters Loch Ness Marathon is a monster of a race (sorry)! It is one of the most popular marathons in Scotland with beautiful scenery and the age old mystery of Nessie attracting runners from all over the UK and the rest of the world.
The race starts up in the highlands between Fort Augustus and Foyers and descends to the south-eastern shores of Loch Ness, crossing the River Ness and heading into Inverness which is the capital of the Highlands.
