The Milan marathon was first held in 2000 and sees around 10,000 runners whizzing around Europe's fashion capital every year. The flat course passes through the city centre and the famous Duomo before finishing at the Medieval and inspiring Castello Sforzesco. It's possible to get a great time but the cobblestones in places may slow you down a little.
This 1 lap course meanders its way on quiet country roads through beautiful villages and hamlets. The course is flat apart from when it deviates over a few motorway bridges. If you haven't had too much turkey a pb is definately on the cards!
